    I love the emotive customer reaction and affect our business has for our customers.

    The people. The creative, can-do energy of the people is unrivaled.
  • What’s the best piece of advice you could give someone for a successful career?
    Focus on root-cause problems not symptoms. Also don’t get involved in office politics, rather focus on bringing positive energy to your day, your job and your life.

    I am proud of the work that we do with all of our customers, particularly those for whom we design custom collections. It is so exciting to collaborate and consult with retailers and brands on designing mannequin collections that speak to the look, tone, feel and fit of their brand, not ours.
  • What do you love about the visual merchandising business?
    What don’t I love? It’s creative; it’s crazy; it’s fast paced, and you can see the results of your work within 3 to 4 months’ time in-store.

    The ability to be creative and the growth opportunity within the company.

    Believe in and be passionate about what you do. If you don’t love what you do, then how can you be successful?

    I feel incredibly proud and privileged to have been part of the growth story for many of the world’s strongest brands, particularly my time with the LEGO Company where work and play were one in the same and we strived every day to achieve great things and then did them.
  • What do you love about the visual merchandising business?
    I love having the ability to elevate the consumer experience and the emotive connection that great visual merchandising brings to retail.

    Absolutely the people! Their passion and creativity are infectious.
  • What‘s the best piece of advice you could give someone for a successful career?
    Don’t think about career progression in terms of climbing a ladder but more like playing on a jungle gym. Interesting and meaningful opportunities to contribute are everywhere and sometimes the best move forward can be a move sideways that positions you for exponential growth. Don’t be afraid to follow your own path and always be authentic.
